Catherine Chao is a maker, tinkerer, and visual artist who carries a sketchbook with her wherever her feet take her. Prior to co-founding GoS, she worked as an architect in New York, Berkeley, Taipei, and Tokyo, and taught design studio and drawing representation at Parsons School of Design/The New School. She holds MBA/MUP degrees from Columbia University, an MArch from RISD, and a BEng from Stanford.
Jamie Haft loves writing, swimming, and growing organizations. Prior to GoS, she was the Executive Director of Circles USA, the anti-poverty network with 80+ communities. Before that, she was the Assistant Director of Imagining America: Artists & Scholars in Public Life, the consortium of 100+ universities. She holds an MS in public relations from Syracuse University and a BFA in Drama from NYU.
Prentice Onayemi loves thinking, numbers, singing, and farming. Prior to co-founding GoS, he led ArtPlace America’s efforts to boost the efficacy of artist-driven community development across the US as its Director of Partnerships and Communications. He has also recorded a couple hundred audiobooks. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BFA in Drama from NYU.
